Upon matriculating from Westville Girls High School, where she played leadership roles in the full spectrum of school life and sport, Kyla was selected from over 1000 applicants to receive a bursary to study and train through The Royal Hotel’s Trainee Management Programme. Upon graduating first in class Kyla travelled to London, working initially for Lehman Brothers in the capacity of Personal and Resource Management Assistant to the Executive Director and later for Oyster Partners, UK’s largest independent Internet Consultancy where she held the position of Communications Manager, handling all internal and external communications.

The call of Africa was strong, and Kyla returned to South Africa in 2001 where she joined an incentive management company in the capacity of Account Manager, handling a portfolio of local and international clients, and later for Garden and Home Magazine, where she held the position of Business Development Manager. After a year spent as a freelance consultant assisting SMME’s in a business development and marketing capacity Kyla entered a partnership as joint owner of Designers on Display cc, a business showcasing premium developments and estates, and some of the country’s finest interior and landscape designers, with shows held at Tongaat Hulett’s Kindlewood Estate, Mount Edgecombe and The Pearls, Umhlanga.

Kyla has a passion for personal growth and development, an arena she has been studying for over twenty years. She is a student of John Kehoe’s Mind Power programme and is privileged to work as a trainer and speaker for Robin Banks, one of the world’s leading authorities on the subject of Mind Power and personal mastery.

Kyla is based in Durban, South Africa.
